Our Chef

Chindi Varadarajulu, the heart behind Pumpkin Tales, is passionate about traditional recipes, bold authentic flavours, and clean, preservative-free cooking. Originally from Singapore and later based in Vancouver, Chindi brought her global palate to Chennai — along with a craving for her breakfast favourites: American coffee and buttery croissants. So, she built a place that served both — and so much more. With over 25 years in the restaurant industry, Chindi brings creativity, warmth, and adventure to every dish that leaves the kitchen.

It turned out to be such a great find ! Location and service is great I tried their Tuesday special Taco (tofu avocado taco) and their cold chocolate..both tasted simply outstanding ! The perfect place to do one of those late Sunday breakfasts that extend to a comforting lunch. The menu is exquisitely curated with a warm staff. Started with some hearty breakfast bowls and ended with a clean, long island green tea. The in between can be just about anything you want it to be. The Poke Bowl left me smiling
